2023 GHALCA top 4: Bibiani GoldStars replaces Asante Kotoko

The Leadership of the Ghana League Clubs Association (Ghalca) has confirmed that Bibiani Gold Stars will take the place of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club following the latter’s decision to pull out from the annual preseason tournament as announced by the Ghana League Clubs Association on Monday, July 24.

The decision means this Season’s GHALCA Top Four will be competed for by Medeama Sporting Club, Bechem United, Aduana Stars and Bibiani Gold Stars.

The tournament will be held at the Kumasi Baba Yara Stadium slated for 6th and 13th August 2023.

It was rumoured that Dream FC, winners of the MTN FA Cup was also contending to replace Asante Kotoko Sporting Club but the slot has gone to fifth placed Bibiani Gold Stars.
