Nicholas Opoku Foundation donates to the ailing goalkeeper William Essu

Ghana Black Stars defender, Nicholas Opoku Foundation also visited and donated an undisclosed amount of money to ailing Legon Cities FC goalkeeper William Essu.

A couple of days ago, the Legon Cities shot-topper came to the public to explain his condition and beg for help from the GFA and the football fraternity to come to his aid, and since then, a lot of noted footballers and corporate bodies have shown love to him by donating to help his predicament.

Essu even said that he was owed money by his club and country after playing in Ghana’s U23 AFCON victory over Algeria in March.

After the news came out, the GFA went to Essu’s place of abode in Cape Coast to donate GHS 10,000 in cash to help curb his condition.
