Medeama need you on board – Hon. Mireku Duker to Goldfields Ghana
Member Of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem George Mireku Duker, has urged Goldfields Ghana Limited to rethink its decision of terminating sponsorship agreement with Medeama Sporting Club.
According to him, the club received a letter from the firm before the second leg of the CAF Champions League match against Horoya in Guinea, outlining the decision, but they had to keep it a secret from the playing body to keep them focused.

“We would ask Gold Fields to rescind their decision on the letter they wrote, indicating that they will no longer sponsor Medeama.
“As part of their Corporate Social Responsibilities, we expect them to carry Medeama along and hold our hands to make Ghana proud.I believe that letter should not have been written at all.I am asking them to rescind that decision immediately.”he said.
Medeama signed a sponsorship dela with Goldfields Ghana worth $300,000 prior to the 2020/2022 football season.
Gold Fields have also invested heavily in the re-construction of Medeama’s T&A park at Tarkwa.
