Partey, Kudus and Nuamah earn nominations in CAF Awards
The Confederation of African Football has released the nominees list for various teams and individuals who showcased impressive performances this year for their clubs and country.
Across seven categories, individuals and teams will be awarded. The categories include; the coach of the year, young player of the year,national team of the year, inter club player of the year, goalkeeper of the year, club of the year and the ultimate player of the year all for men only.
Three Black Stars players have been named in two categories of this year’s CAF awards.
Ghanaian winger Ernest Nuamah who won the Danish Superliga Player of the Year ,Danish Superliga Young Player of the Year and earned a 2023 Golden Boy nomination has been named in the Young Player Of The Year Category.
Ernest Nuamah also became the most expensive Superliga export & Lyon’s record signing all in 18 months.
Black Stars Deputy Captain Thomas Partey and Mohammed Kudus have also earned nominations in The Player Of The Year Category for their exploits with the national team and clubs.
The 2023 CAF awards will be held in Marrakech, Morocco on December 11.
