Kudus scores as West Ham cruise to 3-1 win over Arsenal

Ghana’s Mohammed Kudus featured and scored a superb goal in West Ham United’s 3-1 win over Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.

The Ghanaian international started the game and played as right winger for West Ham.

After Ben White’s own goal gifted West Ham United the lead in the 16th minute the Hammers gained confidence and managed the game until after recess.Five minutes after half-time,Nayef Aguerd’s long ball found Kudus in the right wing area,the Ghanaian controlled the ball and made a swift cut back before shooting the ball past Aaron Ramsdale to make the score 2-0 in favour of West Ham.

10 minutes later, West Ham picked a 3-0 lead after Jarod Bowen’s shot deflect of Kiwior into the Arsenal goal post.

Kudus was subbed off for Thilo Kehrer on the 89th minute and received a standing ovation from the home fans.

Mohammed Kudus now has four goals in six starts for West Ham United.

He was rated 7.7 after the game.
