Revealed: Kamaldeen Sulemana ruled out for the 2023/24 season
Ghana and Southampton’s winger, Kamaldeen Sulemana will not be available for the Championship season due to a muscle injury.
Sulemana’s condition was updated by Southampton manager Russell Martin during a news conference and it was revealed that the player has been receiving specialized care for the muscle issue.
“Kamaldeen had a muscle injury and that is hard. He’s been away for the last few days getting some specialist treatment as it’s been a busy physio room and I’ve had to prioritize performance,” Russell Martin told reporters.

Sulemana’s absence from the field has increased rumors regarding his future, and this summer, it was rumored that other clubs were interested in signing him.
Martin recognized the curiosity but emphasized the significance of Sulemana to Southampton by saying,”He is our player and we want him as fit as we possibly can to try and help us on the pitch.”
After joining Southampton for £22 million from French Ligue 1 team AS Rennes, he became the club’s most expensive acquisition.
Southampton will be looking forward to gain promotion to the Premier League after suffering relegation last season.
