“No injury concerns”- Medeama Sc Coach declares ahead of Remo Stars clash

Head Coach of Medeama Sporting Club, Augustine Evans Adotey has revealed that there is no injury situation in his camp ahead of the 2nd Leg CAF Champions League game against Remo Stars of Nigeria at the Remo Stadium in Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria.

The Mauves and Yellows defeated their Nigerian counterpart Remo Stars 1:0 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium a week ago.

The Champions of Ghana will be hoping to scale through to the next stage of the competition with a win or draw at the Remo Stadium on Sunday August 27, 2023

Speaking to the media ahead of the match, Coach Augustine Adotey revealed that all the players he brought to Nigeria are fit and ready for action tomorrow,

“Anything about injuries, it is only the Club Physiotherapist, the team Doctor who can give you the full details maybe one or two will not be fit

“l brought 22 man squad, 20 will dress and two will rest.

“They are all fully fit and ready for the game tomorrow”

The coach also talked about going all out to win the game tomorrow by playing all attacking and all defending game depending on the strategy his opponent will bring.

The winner of this tie will face the Champions of Guinea Horoya AC  in the final qualifying round for a place in this year’s CAF Champions League.

Kickoff time for the game is 4pm Local time in Nigeria and 3pm Local time in Ghana.
