“l have to work more on my Strikers” – Remo Stars Coach ahead of Medeama Clash
Head Coach of Remo Stars FC, Daniel Ogunmodede has admitted that he will have to work more on his strikers ahead of tomorrow’s CAF Champions League game against the Ghanaian Champions Medeama Sc at the Remo Stadium in Sagamu, Ogun State Nigeria.
Medeama Sc won the first leg 1:0 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium and a draw will see them through to the next stage of the CAF Champions League.
Speaking to the media at the Pre- match Press Conference, Head Coach for Remo Stars, Daniel Ogunmodede believes that even though his team lost by a slim margin in the first leg it was a game they were not supposed to lose”
” Yes of course, it should be my attacking department because like you said we created a lot of goal scoring opportunities in the first leg at Cape Coast, but my Attackers failed to utilize any of them”
” This was a game we shouldn’t have lost looking at the way we played against Medeama Sc especially in the Second half ”

The winner of the two legged game will meet Guinean side Horoya FC in the final round for a place in the group stage of the 2023/2024 CAF Champions League.
Kickoff time for the game is 4pm Local time in Nigeria and 3pm Local in Ghana.
