Abdul Salis Samed sees full throttle as his side defeats Arsenal 2-1

Ghana’s Abdul Salis Samed featured in his second UEFA Champions League game when RC Lens hosted Arsenal.

Abdul Salis Samed gave a good account of himself while playing in his customary midfield position and inspired his team to come back from a deficit to win 2-1 at the end of the game.

The encounter saw winger Bukayo Saka assist Gabriel Jesus, who scored in the 14th minute to give Arsenal the lead.

Adrien Thomasson scored an equalizer ten minutes later to bring the score back to even, and both teams entered halftime tied.

After the break, RC Lens scored to secure a 2-1 victory, moving the team to the top of Group B standings with four points.

Ghana’s Abdul Salis Samed had the most touches (29) of any outfield player to play 90 minutes. The Ghanaian was also the only player in the game to get a 100% tackle success rate (3/3).

He recorded a pass accuracy rate of 83% and was rated 7.0 after the game.
