Abdul Samed key in Lens 2-1 win over Toulouse

Ghana’s Abdul Salis Samed was in action for Lens to raid Toulouse 2-1 in the match day six of the French League One at the Stade Bollaert-Dellelis on Sunday, September 24, 2023.

Goals from Wesley Said and Morgan Guilavogui ensured that RC Lens complete a comeback after going down by a goal from Toulouses’ Gelabert on the 33rd minute.

This was the first victory for Salis Samed’s team since the start of the 2023/2024 season.

Salis Samed was outstanding in the middle of the park as he made 10 ball recoveries,1 interception and a clearance.He also completed 66 of 72 attempted passes with a percentage of 92.

Salis Samed was rated 7.5 after playing full 90 minutes as a double pivot midfieder in partnership with Andy Diouf .
