Afriyie Owusu’s injury time header gifts RTU 1-0 win against Heart of Oak

Accra Hearts of Oak lost 1-0 to Real Tamale United at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Friday, September 15, 2023 courtesy a 90+2 minutes header from Afriyie Owusu.

The 18-year-old Owusu rose highest and headed in from a corner to ensure the Phobians will return to the Accra without a point. The first game of the betPawa Premier League produced the first winner and goal scorer.

It was a repeat of last season’s scoreline when Umar Manaf scored the only goal of the game against his former side Accra Hearts of Oak at the dying embers of the game to ensure the host smiled pretty at the end of the game.
