CAF WCL: Ampem Darkoa Ladies to learn group opponents today
Ampem Darkoa Ladies, the reigning Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League Champions will know their opponents in the CAF Champions League today, October 9 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Anpem Darkoa Ladies team qualified to the prestigious tournament by winning the WAFU qualifying competition. Ampem Darkoa Ladies Fc are the second Ghanaian team to play in the competition after Hasaacas Ladies Fc.
The draw for the CAF Women’s Champions League will take place at 16:00 GMT and be broadcast live on digital CAF platforms.
Ivory Coast will host the third edition of this competition for African women’s clubs from November 5 through to November 19, 2023 and this will be the first time the tournament will be held in West Africa.
AS FAR of Morocco are the defending Champions if the tournament.
Athlético Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, SC Casablanca Morocco, AS Mandé,Mali, JKT Queens,Uganda, Mamelodi Sundowns, South Africa, Huracanes, Equatorial Guinea have all qualified to play in the CAF Champions League and are awaiting the draw.
