Don’t give up on us, we’ll do better – Baba Yahaya to Asante Kotoko fans
Ghanaian football giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko have had a poor run after three games in the betPawa Premier League 2023/2024 season. The Porcupine Warriors have just two points out of the possible nine.
As pressure mounts on Kotoko, Baba Yahaya has extended a plea to fans not to give up on them adding that the team will make things right going forward.
“The results are not coming but we thank them for coming in their numbers to support us. They shouldn’t give up on us. We hope the results will start coming and they will be happy.
While we understand that every point is crucial in the league, we’re focused on building a strong team, and we’re optimistic about delivering better results in our next match.” He said.
Kotoko’s season begun with a draw against Heart of Lions before they lost to Bibiani Goldstars.Baba Yahaya came off the bench to save the Ghanaian powerhouses from defeat on Sunday as Kotoko and Karela United shared the spoils at the end of the games.
Baba Yahaya completed a move from relegated King Faisal to Kotoko last month on a three-year deal.
Kotoko are 17th on the Betpawa Ghana Premier League table after match week three.
