Fatawu Issahaku features as Leicester beat Bristol 1-0 to move top of Championship log

Ghanaian winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku made his first start for Leicester City after three substitute appearances in a 1-0 victory against Bristol City.

The Ghanaian played a crucial role in a home game against Bristol City as his efforts helped Leicester City return to the top of the championship table for at least the next one week with 21 points after 8 games.

Jamie Vardy’s penalty strike on the 67th minute was enough to give Leicester City the top spot in the English Championship.

The Ghanaian lasted 76 minutes as Leicester City beat Bristol City 1-0 at the King Power.

Head Coach of Enzo Maresca has gradually intergrated him into the team by deploying the 19 year old Ghanaian as a right winger, which is his favourite position.

In his first start, he was rated 7.5 by Fotmobile.

Fatawu Issahaku joined Leicester City on a loan deal from Portuguese side Sporting CP with no buy option however,Leicester City might consider buying him should he impress as they look to return to the English Premier League next season.
