Fatawu Issahaku makes debut in Leicester’s slim defeat to Hull City

Fatawu Issahaku secured his debut for Leicester City in the English Championship against Hull City on Saturday, September 2, in a 1-0 defeat at the King Power Stadium.

The Ghanaian winger played as a substitute in his first game.

Fatawu Issahaku was introduced into the game on the 53rd minute to replace Yunus Akgün.

Issahaku struck the woodwork and had three successful shots as he was rated 7.0.

The game ended 1-0 in favour of Hull City.

Prior to his first game, he begun training on Friday, September 1, with his new teammates.

It is Leicester first defeat in six games under new coach Enzo Maresca, the former Manchester City Assistant Coach.
Issahaku joined the Foxes through a loan agreement, and he will remain with the team through the end of the 2023–24 English Championship season.

He joined Leicester from Portuguese side Sporting Club, where he made six senior-level appearances in 2022–2023, season.
