FC Samartex 1-0 Aduana Stars: Michael Ephson elated after debut goal
Michael Ephson has shared his excitement after scoring on his debut to secure a 1-0 victory for FC Samartex 1996 against Aduana Stars on match day one of the betPawa Premier League at the Nsenkyire Arena.
Ephson was an instant impact for the Timber Giants in a game that four debutants were handed starting roles by head coach Nurudeen Amadu.

Michael Ephson who joined the Timber Giants from Division One League side, Nzema Kotoko Football Club enjoyed his debut per his interaction with the Club’s media after the game.
”I am extremely happy. Aduana Stars is an experience team, so the only way we can beat them is hardwork and I am motivated to score more in the subsequent games after getting one in my first.
”I’m really grateful to everyone and also for me helping the team get the win. The expectation is that there should be more goals” – Ephson told FC Samartex Media.
The Samreboi-based side will travel to face Nations FC at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
