GFA Elections: Committee releases full list of aspirants of various positions

The Elections Committee in charge of the Ghana Football Association 2023 Elections has released the full list of aspirants vying for the various positions after a careful consideration from the vetting process.

The list which was released on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 saw the President of the GFA, Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku as the sole contender for the next four years in the presidential race following the disqualification of George Afriyie, the only candidate who opted to challenge for the seat.

Seven incumbent Regional Football Association chairman will be running unopposed; Central Region, Brong Ahafo and Upper East Region remain the only competition in the build up to the elections.

Ten other candidates are up for the five slots available for the Executive Council seats for the topflight league.
