Gospel musician Philipa Baafi becomes a medical doctor
Gospel musician Philipa Baafi has finally been inducted into the Ghana Medical and Dental Council as a Physician Assistant.
The award-winning gospel star revealed it in a Facebook post. The ‘Go High’ hitmaker thanked God for the successful induction and her achievement.
She wrote, “I would like to thank THE Lord for a successful induction into the medical and dental council as a physician assistant.”

“Already I have a foundation that helps supply free medicine to the sick, needy, and poor in society. I have that passion and burning desire to become a medical doctor.
“At some point, I thought of returning to pursue that childhood dream to assist mankind. So thanks to God, I’m on the right track, and soon I will become a fully-fledged Medical Doctor. That’s why I missed out on the music scene,” she said.
Philipa Baafi pointed out that marriage and childbirth made me leave the music scene. I enrolled back in school to continue my ambition to become a medical doctor.
