Joseph Paintsil scores late in Genk’s 3-3 draw against St. Truiden

In a six goal thriller between KRC Genk and St. Truiden, Joseph Paintsil scored the final goal for his team as they rallied from three goals behind to tie 3-3.

The visitors took a commanding 3-0 advantage into halftime after scoring three goals in the opening 45 minutes of play.

In the second half of the game, Genk came from behind to earn a tense 3-3 draw at home, moving them up to sixth place in the standings after seven games with 12 points and a game remaining.

In the 58th minute, Bilal El Khannouss scored the first goal for the home team to spark their comeback.

Toluwalase Emmanuel Arokodare added a second goal in the 71st minute to make the score 3-2.

A goal by Ghanaian Joseph Paintsil in the 86th minute equalled the scored and forced a 3-3 draw after the hosts pilled pressure in the last ten minutes.

He was rated 7.9 after playing full 90 minutes of the game.

In six games this year for Genk the Ghanaian forward, has scored a goal and provided three assists.
