Kwesi Appiah not leaving IMC position at Asante Kotoko for Sudan job

Former Black Stars Head Coach, James Kwesi Appiah will not be relinquishing his position as Asante Kotoko Interim Management Committer member for a Head Coach role at Sudan’s national team as reported on Wednesday, September 20, 2023.

Appiah, who led Ghana to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil has come into the new for accepting a three year deal to become the new Head Coach of Sudan’s national team, but an sources close to kwamefilla.com indicates the gaffer has not made any move like that.

Asante Kotoko are currently trying to finetune following the appointment of an IMC which James Kwesi Appiah and Prosper Nartey Ogum serve as technical heads.

The team failed to secure a win in their first home game of the season after sharing the spoils with newly promoted Hearts of Lions Football Club.

A trip to Bibiani Gold Stars is on this weekend with Appiah expected to ensure the Porcupine return with a better result than the match day one goalless draw.
