MC Alger terminates Joseph Esso’s contract
Algerian side MC Alger have mutually parted ways with Ghanaian forward Joseph Esso after two and a half seasons.
The 26-year-old player and the Algiers-based club reached an agreement on Monday to end his contract amicably, according to an announcement made by the club on Monday.
“Thank you Esso. Mouloudia Algeria club management has reached agreement with Ghanaian player Joseph Esso to terminate the contract that links him to the team by compromise.”
“The ‘Dean’ management extends it thanks to the player for everything he has given to the team during his tenure in the green and red shirt and fr treating him with good behavior for two and a half seasons and wishes him all the best in his next trial”the statement reads.
The former Dreams FC player joined the Club in the middle of the 2020–21 campaign and made a great impression .

He scored seven goals and dished out three assists in eighteen games for the Mouloudias, contributing to ten goals in the second round.
Esso was unable to replicate his impact from the previous season in his second, scoring just three goals and dishing out one assist in thirty-three games.
His contract has been terminated because he has failed to get playing time in the previous season and only scored and assisted one goal each.
The former Hearts of Oak forward is presently a free agent and can sign with any club of his choice.
