Medeama sc to play Remo Stars FC of Nigeria in Caf Champions League Preliminary round
Ghana’s Premier League Champions Medeama sc will play as host to Nigerian side Remo Stars FC in the first preliminary round of the 2023/24 Caf champions League Competition.
At today’s draw conducted at the headquarters of CAF in Cairo, Egypt, paired the Ghanaians champions against the Ogun State Club, Remo Stars FC .
Medeama sc will play the first leg in Ghana at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on the weekend of August 18-20 , 2023 before making a trip to Sagamu, Ogum state in Nigeria for the return fixture.
The winner of the two legs will face Guinean Champions Horoya AC in the second round of the competition for a place in the group stage ..
Medeama sc is making a return to the Caf inter club competition in seven years after playing in the Caf Confederation Cup after winning the Ghana FA Cup trophy twice in 2013 and 2015.
