Nabil Maaloul: Hearts close to signing ex-Hannover 96 Midfielder as Head Coach
Hearts of Oak are on the brink of securing the services of Tunisian manager Nabil Maaloul as their new Head Coach according to reports on Tuesday August 8, 2023.
Sources close to Kumasi-based journalist Opoku Afriyie indicate that the appointment is being made based on a recommendation from the club’s technical director, Rene Hiddink.

Nabil Maaloul, a renowned figure in African football, is set to ink a long-term contract with the illustrious betPawa Premier League side. The club’s management and board view him as the ideal leader for their ambitious project.
With a wealth of experience at the age of 60, Maaloul has significantly contributed to African football throughout his coaching journey. Notably, he achieved a treble victory with ES De Tunis in 2011, securing the Tunisia League, Tunisia Cup, and the CAF Champions League.
