Osman Bukari named in UEFA Team of the Week
Ghanaian winger Osman Bukari has emerged as one of the best eleven performers chosen by UEFA technical team for Round 2 of the matches played in the 2023/2024 UEFA’s Champions League group stage.
His team Red Star Belgrade played against Young Boys on Wednesday night in the UEFA Champions League and Osman Bukari put up an outstanding performance.
Cherif Ndiaye converted the first goal after a low cross from Bukari found him to give Real Star Belgrade the lead after the game got off to a strong start.
Goals from Filip Ugrini and Cedric Itten in the 48th and 61st minutes helped Young Boys to make a 2-1 comeback but it did not last as Red Star Belgrade found a hero in Osman Bukari scoring on the 88th minute to force a 2-2 draw.
With a rating of 8.6, Osman Bukari was awarded man of the match.
