Saddick Adams on why Andrè Ayew gets constant Black Stars selection

Sports Broadcaster at Angel Broadcasting Network explains why the Black Stars captain Andre Ayew has long been a part of the national team despite receiving criticism from some Ghanaian football fans.

Given his age and recent performance, there was a public discussion on whether Ayew deserved to be on the team after his inclusion.

But renowned sportswriter Saddick Adams has shed light on the justification for Andre Ayew’s prolonged participation in the national squad.

Adams said on the Angel TV Morning Show that “Andre Ayew’s inclusion in the team is not simply based on footballing considerations. The younger players are inspired by his presence.

Some of them might not have the mental toughness to handle the difficulties Andre has encountered. Some of these players might have chosen to leave international football if they had experienced the same struggles and social media backlash.

Adams also claims that Ayew is a crucial member of the team because of his vast knowledge, outstanding leadership abilities, and mental toughness.

He also emphasized Ayew’s special circumstance as the only survivor of Ghana’s 2010 World Cup team, which advanced to the quarterfinals.

Since the start of his Ghanaian international career in 2008, Andre Ayew has received over 110 caps. His excellent resume includes leading the Under-20 team to victories at the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup as well as the 2009 African Youth Championship.
