SWAG ELECTIONS: OTI-ASIRIFI PREFERRED FOR DEPUTY GENERAL SECRETARY ROLE
Top journalist and law student Joseph Mensah Oti-Asirifi is ranked to be the frontrunner for the vacant Deputy General Secretary position in the upcoming National Executive Elections of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana, scheduled for Saturday, October 21, 2023. The SWAG Elections Committee approved his nomination, along with other nominees vying for nine vacant executive positions, on Friday, October 6.
Joseph Mensah Oti-Asirifi, a Chartered Administrator and Management Consultant, brings extensive professional experience in both sports broadcasting and top managerial and administrative profiles. He holds M.A. Development Management, M., A, Strategic Communication, B.A. Hons from the University of Cape Coast, and currently, a final year student, reading LLB LAW at the KAAF University College
Seen as a vibrant element in mix of the aspirants, the seasoned SWAGGER, is preferred to provide that strategic and multiple blends of skill=-set and qualities for the next SWAG leadership.

Affectionately known as “Big Oty,” Oti-Asirifi has held various positions and responsibilities within SWAG, including serving as the Immediate Past Secretary of SWAG Western and Western North Regions, Secretary to the SWAG WR/WNR Elections Committee, a member of the SWAG Constitutional Review Committee, and a member of the 2021 SWAG Cup Committee.
