“The only institution disgracing me now is Asante Kotoko” – Otumfuo Osei Tutu II
The Life Patron of Ghana Premier League side Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has single out the club as the only institution disgracing him as King of the Ashanti Kingdom.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has made several changes to the team after the outgone Board of Directors and Executives brought their tenures to a close.
As part of the restructuring, former Coach, Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum is reappointed as the Head Coach and ex Black Stars Head Coach and former Asante Kotoko left back, Kwesi Appiah will be the technical advisor.
Emmanuel Dasoberi has been retained as the Administrative Manager of the Club for his exemplary role in the period he served under the Nana Yaw Amponsah’s administration.
Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua.( Kontomponi Aferehene, who is also a charted Accountant). He will be heading the committee.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II surmised in his ending statement that Asante Kotoko Sporting Club is the only institution disgracing him as he concluded.
