Video: Man holding cutlass attacks Legon Cities FC

Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities Football Club has been attacked on their way back to Accra after the 2023 Nsenkyire Cup which came off at Samreboi from Friday, September 1 to Sunday, September 3, 2023.

The Accra-based side on their return to the capital from the Western Region was seen in a viral video being attacked by an unidentified man with a cutlass.

The video shows some of the players at the point of being hit with the cutlass in an attempt to ascertain what was the rational behind the man’s actions.

Legon Cities Football Club finished third in the Nsenkyire Cup after sharing the spoils in all their three games against Berekum Chelsea, the eventual winners, FC Samartex 1996, the host and Nsoatreman Football Club.
