WAFCON 2024Q: Black Queens name 23 players for Rwanda clash

The Black Queens of Ghana are set to commence preparation with 23 players ahead of Women’s African Cup of Nations Qualifier against Rwanda.

The Ghana senior women’s team led by Nora Hauptle learned of their opponent in a draw two months ago over a two legged tie set for September 18 and September 26, 2023.

Ghana will be traveling to Rwanda for the first leg before hosting the second leg at Cape Coast later this month.

The list which was released on Tuesday, September 12, has three goalkeepers; Salifu Safiatu, Konlan F. Cynthia and McCarthy Kerrie.

Doris Boaduwaa who is currently on three goals as her side, Spartak Subotica are awaiting the opponents for round two of the Uefa women’s champions league which will be conducted on Friday is in the list.
