“We won’t settle for less against AS Mande” – Nana Adarkwa
Head coach Joe Nana Adarkwa of Ampem Darkoa FC, the reigning Champions of the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League, says he is looking forward to a good game has against AS Mande tomorrow.
Despite a comeback victory against the defending champions ASFAR FC, the coach has called attention to his team’s errors.He added that his side will work on them to ensure their progress in the CAF Women’s Champions League.
“We were almost written off in that game on Monday against ASFAR, but we fought through and got that win.
I also realised there were a number of mistakes during our first half play especially, and we are working towards that so we do not repeat them.”Coach Joe Nana Adarkwa explained.
Ampem Darkoa,who are debutants in the CAF Women’s Champions League made history by defeating AS FAR 2-1 in their first group stage game.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies, who lead Group B ahead of Hurricanes FC,AS FAR and AS Mande with three points will play the latter at Stade Laurent Pokou on Thursday night.
