WestHam, Kudus deal sealed after Ajax accept €45m offer
WestHam have agreed a €45 million deal with Ajax for Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus as announced in the media on Friday, August 25.
West Ham reached a verbal agreement with Ajax and the representatives of Kudus for €45 million in total package add-ons, plus a sell-on clause.
The Hammers are believed to have signed the Ghanaian midfielder on a five-year deal, and he is set for a medical on Saturday.
Mohammed Kudus earlier spoke about a potential transfer to West Ham after scoring a hat-trick in what could be his last match for Ajax in the Europa League qualifier against Ludogorets
Although Ajax manager Maurice Steijn insisted that the Ghanaian would be available for the return leg on August 31, Kudus hinted during the interview that a transfer to West Ham is now imminent.
The 23-year-old played 107 matches for Ajax and scored 26 goals with 12 assists. Kudus has so far won 24 caps for Ghana, scoring 7 goals.
