2023 AFCON: Ghana draw Egypt, Mozambique and Cape Verde

The Black Stars of Ghana have discovered their group stage opponents in the 2023 African Cup of Nations tournament after the final draw took place on Thursday, October 12, 2023 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

The 34th edition of the AFCON will see Ghana paired in group  B with the most successful nation in the history of the AFCON in Egypt,Cape Verde and Mozambique.

Ghana defeated  Central Africa Republic in early September in Kumasi to secure  qualification to   the competition.

The African Cup of Nations will  take place from January 13 to February 11.

Ghana will be hoping to be crowned as the face of African football for the fifth time having won the AFCON four times already.
