I used to sell with my grandma – Ayra Starr reveals

Nigerian singer Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as Ayra Starr, has made a shocking revelation about her upbringing in her recent media interaction claiming she used to sell vegetables and fruits with the grand mother.

The silky songstress revealed that she used to sell vegetables and fruits with her grandmother as things were tough and hard when growing up.

Ayra Starr said God has really blessed her and done great things for her when she look at where she was six years ago as people cue and pay for her shows to see her sing now.

The “Rush” crooner, who recently revealed this via her Instagram Story, said she is grateful for her progress. She said she often sings for customers who frequent her business.

“[I] will always be grateful for where I am in life,” she wrote. God has truly blessed me. “Six years ago, my grandmother and I sold vegetables and I sang for anyone to listen. Now people pay to see me play.

Kwamefilla recalls that Ayra Starr rose to fame in 2021 with the release of her self-titled debut extended play and hit song “Away”, following her debut as a Mavin Records artist.
