I birthed the language in my music – Ghanaian singer reveals

Ghanaian songstress, Sally Mugabe Hayfron, known in the showbiz industry as Sally M has in her latest media ran revealed that the language used to create the chorus of her latest track, Feeling, is not an established language anywhere but one she birthed.

The chorus of the popular new tune by the Takoradi-based singer[Sally M] has been discussed in the media severally with most mistaken it for a Nigerian or South African local dialect.

Several others have mistaken the language to be either Ga or Ewe but the Singer maintains “it was something she created out of the blue” as she converses with Tadi FM’s Sika Warmann.

When asked how she mostly come by her songs, Sally M said – “sometimes I’ll be there and the song will be playing in my head and I’ll go and record. Feeling for instance, it was a vibe and I quickly recorded it with my phone and later worked on it”.

Feeling is raking in huge numbers from the digital platforms. The song which features Ahkan of the now defunct Ruff and Smooth fame has garnered over 100,000 streams on only Boomplay and Audiomack.
