Andre Ayew, Baba Rahman dropped from Ghana’s latest squad for USA friendly

Chris Hughton has announced Ghana’s latest squad for the friendlies against Mexico and USA without skipper Andre Dede Ayew and Baba Abdul Rahman.

The Ghana Skipper who came under large criticism for being included as club-less in games against Central Africa Republic and Liberia has been dropped this time.

Andre Ayew is joined in the list of absentees by Baba Abdul Rahman; the latter’s performance in Ghana’s 2-1 win against Central African Republic came under boos have been excused from the current squad called up.

On the other hand, Thomas Partey, Daniel Amartey and Tariq Lamptey have returned to the squad for the trip to USA to play Mexico and the USA.

The Ghana senior national team is set to face Mexico on October 14 and USA on October 17 at the Bank of America Stadium and Geodis Park respectively.
