Antoinne Semenyo scores debut goal as Liverpool beat Bournemouth 3-1

Ghanaian striker Antoinne Semenyo scored his debut goal and the match opener for AFC Bournemouth as his side suffered a 3-1 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield.

Antoine Semenyo made the most of his chance to shine in the third minute after a thrilling start. Due to a defensive blunder, he was able to seize possession of a loose ball and quickly score to give Bournemouth a 1-0 lead over Liverpool.

However, Bournemouth were unable to maintain their advantage as Luiz Diaz, Mohammed Salah, and Diogo Jota scored to give Liverpool their first victory of the season.

The Ghanaian striker was given his first start of the season by Andoni Iraola, the Bournemouth manager.

Semenyo played for 76 minutes and received a rating of 7.5 on FotMob for his amazing showing.

Antoine Semenyo has had a challenging time at Bournemouth season since his arrival in January 2023.The Ghanaian is gradually regaining his footing.
