Berry Ladies Duo Philomena Abakah and Martha Appiah Join Ampem Darkoa Ladies

Philomena Abakah and Martha Appiah have joined reigning champions of the Women’s Premier League, Ampem Darkoa Ladies from Berry Ladies FC ahead of the West Africa Football Union Zone B Women’s Champions League Qualifiers.

Forward Philomena Abakah who played the main edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League for Simba Ladies SC in the previous edition is called on this time to aid the Champions of Ghana to fight for a slot away at Nigeria for a place in the finals.

Martha Appiah, left back, tried out the last time out with Ampem Darkoa Ladies far away Cote D’Ivoire and lost the final to Bayelsa Queens and will be aiming for the main spot available later this month.

The Ghanaian Champions will be making their way to Nigeria later this month to fight for the sole slot available for the CAF Women’s Champions League.

Ampem Darkoa ladies have been paired in a group consisting Togolese(Amis Du Monde) and Nigerians (AS Grande de National)champions in Wafu B CAF Women’s Champions League Qualifier.

Ampem Darkoa are hoping for the second time of trying to usurp AS Grande and Amis du Monde to to get a slot to participate in their Maiden CAF Women’s Champions League.
