George Afriyie’s immediate reaction after being disqualified from GFA Presidential Race
Ghana Football Association Presidential Seat hopeful, George Afriyie following his disqualification has reacted by wishing the Black Stars well in their upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifier against Central African Republic on Thursday, September 7, 2023.
The news broke on Wednesday that the former Vice President of the Ghana Football Association has been disqualified from the race to contest for the Ghana Football Association’s presidential race.

The move expected to put George Afriyie in bad move seems not to have been the case as he was seen sharing a statement on social media supporting the Black Stars to victory and a subsequent qualification to the Ivory Coast 2023.
He says in his statement that “the Black Stars qualification is the minimum expectation that cannot be compromised…”.
