I’m the best person for Black Stars job – Chris Hughton
Black Stars Coach, Chris Hughton maintains that he is still the best person to lead the senior national team, the Black Stars despite disappointing performances.
The Black Stars have now lost two consecutive games since Chris Hughton took over as head coach,the first against Mexico which ended with a 2-0 scoreline and that of today a humiliating 4-0 loss at the hands of the USA.
“If you ask me if I feel like I’m the right person for this job, the answer is yes,” Hughton stated in a post match interview.
Chris Hughton further issued an apology to Ghanaians on for the poor performances displayed by the Black Stars.
“I’m very sorry, and I take responsibility for the poor performance against the USA,” Hughton said.
Following Otto Addo’s resignation after the Nation’s early exit from the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Chris Hughton who served as Addo’s technical advisor was selected as the team’s head Coach.
Next month Ghana will come up against Madagascar and Comoros in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
