Juventus, Asamoah to establish Juventus Academy in Ghana

Italian Serie A powerhouse Juventus has  revealed a collaboration with former Black Stars midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah, to launch a football academy in Ghana.

This is in accordance with a deal the club and the former Ghana international had to find, sign, and train the best football players in Ghana.

With this action, Ghana joins Tunisia, Tanzania, Morocco, Nigeria, and South Africa as the newest African nation to benefit from Juventus’ youth development programs.

Juventus has a network of more than fifty football academies throughout the world that are dedicated to developing young potentials through both football skill development and academic instructions.

The academy’s main goal is to find and nurture Ghanaian players with potential.

The Juventus Football Academy Ghana will officially open at the SMAC Sports Centre in Accra on Friday, October 27, 2023.

Kwadwo Asamoah spent six fruitful years with Juventus, where he distinguished himself by being the most decorated player from Africa in the Italian top division.
