PRESEC emerge NSMQ winners for record 8th time

Presbyterian Boys’ Senior High School Legon have been crowned winners of the National Science and Maths Quiz 2023 at the National Theatre in Accra.

PRESEC set a competition record by winning their eighth NSMQ title, defeating both Achimota School and Opoku Ware School.Presec Legon on was represented by Partey and Selinam Mortey

There was fierce competition between contestants from all three schools showcasing their academic abilities. But in the end, PRESEC prevailed because of their impressive showing in the true-or-false and problem-solving rounds.

Students, instructors, and graduates from PRESEC celebrated the school’s win throughout Ghana. The school was extremely pleased of this accomplishment, which further solidified its standing as one of the top math and science senior high schools in the nation.

PRESEC’s won the NSMQ competition for the first time in 1995, They went on to win again in 2000, 2005, 2008, 2012, 2022, and are now winners of this year’s edition.

Presec Boys won a cash prize of GHS75,0000 in addition to the trophy.
