Two girls drown in Mankrano River

Two girls have reportedly drowned in the Mankrano River while attempting to cross on their way from school on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.

The issue which happened at Mankranso of the Ahafo Ano South West District in the Ashanti Region has left many disheartened as search continues to get the bodies of the two students.

According to multiple reports, one girl was located an hour later but could not be saved despite being rushed to a nearby hospital.

The search for the other girl continues, with local residents fervently trying to locate her.
