WRFA Boss Simon Ehomah declares support for Kurt Okraku in 2023 GFA Elections
Simon Ehomah, Chairman of the Western Regional Football Association has declared his support for incumbent Kurt Okraku to retain the GFA President seat when the Association goes to the polls in October this year
The GFA Kurt Okraku recently declared his intentions to seek for a second term of office as Ghana Football Association President at the 29th Ordinary Congress held at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi.
Simon Ehomah, Chairman of the Western Region Football Association who has also declared his intentions to contest again for the WRFA seat believes Kurt Okraku is the best man for the job and should be made to continue his good works.

Speaking to Sekondi Takoradi- based ace sportscaster Kuntu Blankson on Westgold Radio he said:
“I will want to appeal to all Division One Clubs and Premier League Clubs in the Region to vote for Kurt Okraku in the upcoming elections”
“All the good things I have been doing for the region, my backbone is the GFA President Kurt Okraku, so for me am for Kurt Okraku, am saying it openly, I support good things”
“He is doing a lot for the Association, most people have forgotten that the first two seasons was off because of COVID and Anass issues
“Look at what he has been able to do in this few year’s, it’s a foundation he is “building ,we all should help him to build it well and any one who takes over will not suffer
” Look at Kwesi Nyantakyi, Uncle Ben Kwofie built the road for him to continue,so when he took over things were not that difficult but it was unfortunately it ended that way”

The people who pushed Nyantakyi out with liars have now regretted and wish he was around , they are the same people trying to do same to Kurt Okraku , they are the same people with different colours attacking Kurt Okraku, They are not different people, they will continue to spread liars because they have seen that if they don’t attack him, it will be difficult to get him .”
Who ever love football, I will urged you to look up to the GFA President because he is not arrogant , he is a listening leader and take advice from everyone.”
“We sometimes even call him at 12 midnight to discuss issues of the Association and he listens ”
“I will urged all to support him , even though is an election , it should be devoid of insults, because you cant destroy him and later when he becomes your President you will say he said he can’t worked with his enemies”
“I’m begging Ghanaians to give Kurt Okraku another chance to manage our football and I know he will take us to places.”
The Greater Accra Regional Football Association Chairman Samuel Aboabire populary known as Katai also use the opportunity to endorse Kurt Okraku to continue as Ghana Football Association President.

The 2022/23 WRFA Division Two Super Middle League ended successful last Sunday at the Sekondi Gyandu Park with Tarkwa- based Rospak SC defeating Team Move owned by Famous Ghanaian highlife musician Kofi Kinatta 3:0 to seal qualification to the 2023/24 Access Bank Division One League Zone 2
